Kadaga stirs debate over Coronavirus

Our Reporter
The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has stirred a public debate after telling Parliament that a spray that instantly kills the deadly Coronavirus had been discovered and will be produced in Uganda.
Kadaga at the weekend met an American scientist, Prof Sarfraz Khan Naiz who claimed to have discovered the spray that is to be produced in Uganda.
Niaz reportedly donated the patent rights free of charge to Uganda.
Kadaga’s tweet attracted debate with some Ugandans on Twitter wondering why the scientist was choosing to produce it in Uganda where no case has been recorded and not the U.S
Kadaga’s communication to Parliament followed a weekend meeting with President Yoweri Museveni where Niaz informed the head of state about the spray.
