President Yoweri Museveni has assured Ugandans that the government will get the Perpetrators of the Komamboga Bomb blast.

On Saturday night, a suspected bomb blast went off at a local pork joint in Kwata Zone, Komamboga in Kampala killing one person and injuring five others by unknown assailants.

However, in a Twitter post on Sunday Morning, Museveni implored Ugandans to keep calm saying the government is committed to getting the Perpetrators.

“The public should not fear, we shall defeat this criminality like we have defeated all the other criminality committed by the pigs who don’t respect life,” Museveni said in a Twitter post on his Twitter handle.

Describing the attack as a terrorist act, Museveni said he was briefed that three people came and left a package in Kaveera which later on exploded, kiling one person and injuring five others.

“It seems to be a terrorist act but we shall get the perpetrators,” Museveni said.

Museveni assured that the Police Specialists are on the ground investigating the whole incident.

He said, “They will give us more information later. They will also give guidelines on vigilance by the Public dealing with these possible terrorists”
