The human head which was carried to Parliament as a “gift” to the Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga is of a three-year-old girl from Masaka.
The beheaded body of the girl was discovered on Monday morning near the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) staff quarters at Kijjabwemi in Masaka City.
It was later established that the body of Pastor Charles Ssenyonga’s daughter, Faith Kyamagero, who went missing on Sunday evening.
Ssenyonga is the lead pastor at Praise God Church Ministries at Kijjabwemi.
According to Adrian Lule, the LC I chairperson for Kijjabwemi A, the girl, left their home with Joseph Nuwashaba who has been a casual labourer at Pastor Ssenyonga’s home.
Her assailants also cut out her private parts.
The 22-year-old Nuwashaba was arrested by the police at Parliament where he had gone to deliver the head as a gift to Kadaga.
He had neatly wrapped the head as gift.
According to the police, the man hails from Kizinda in Bushenyi district, but has been residing in Masaka.
The motive of the killing is not yet clear.
