Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has tested positive for COVID-19, the club confirmed on their website. The 27-year-old has been left out of France’s squad for Nations League matches against Sweden and Croatia next month as a result.
“I had to make a change last minute because Paul Pogba was supposed to be in the squad,” France head coach Didier Deschamps said. “Unfortunately for him, he had a test yesterday that was positive this morning.” Pogba was replaced by 17-year-old Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
